Elliott Bales (Dr. William R. Chumley) makes his 1st Stage debut with Harvey. Recent credits include: Victor/Argument in The Wonderful World of Dissocia (2015 Helen Hayes Award – Outstanding Play, Outstanding Ensemble Nominee, Theater Alliance); Romeo in Romeo and Juliet (Unexpected Stage), Ruby in Last of the Whyos (Spooky Action Theater); Frank Riley in Not Enuf Lifetimes (The Welders). EDUCATION: BA, Drama, Abilene Christian University; MS Strategy, National War College. UPCOMING: The National Museum of the Unforeseen Tragedy (The Welders); A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Folger).

   

 

  Tonya Beckman* (Veta Louise Simmons) is pleased to make her 1st Stage debut. DC AREA: Twelfth Night, Gaming Table, As You Like It, Game of Love and Chance (Folger Theatre); Age of Innocence (Arena Stage); Sabrina Fair (Ford’s Theatre);  Crime and Punishment, Alice, Wrinkle in Time (Round House Theatre); Lady Windermere’s Fan, Love’s Labor’s Lost (Shakespeare Theatre Company); The Internationalist, Long Christmas Ride Home (Studio Theatre); Yellow Face, Mikveh (Theater J); Rancho Mirage, The Millionairess (Olney Theatre Center); Shear Madness, Unleashed, American Scrapbook (Kennedy Center); Passion Play (Forum Theatre); and most recently, Can’t Complain (Spooky Action Theater). She has also appeared in many productions at Taffety Punk, where she is a company member. REGIONAL: Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Cleveland Playhouse, Totem Pole Playhouse, Center Stage, Fulton Theatre, Human Race Theatre, Public Theatre of Maine, and Purple Rose Theatre, among others.  She received her MFA from Ohio University’s Professional Training Program. She can be seen this spring in After the War at Mosaic Theater Company.

Robert Grimm (Duane Wilson) is thrilled to be returning to 1st Stage after previously appearing in The Cripple of Inishmann. Other credits include — NEW YORK: Oresteia, Greek Festival (Classic Stage Company/Ashes Company); Bird in the Hand (Fulcrum Theater); special events work with Sleep No More. REGIONAL: Rabbit Hole (Peter’s Alley); The Goat, or Who is Sylvia? (Nutley Little Theatre); The Brave Little Tailor (Enchantment Theatre); and Evan (u/s) in The Aliens (Studio Theatre). Proud graduate of Muhlenberg College and additional training from the Accademia dell’Arte, Arezzo, Italy.

Emily Morrison (Mrs. Ethel Chauvenet) is thrilled to be making her 1st Stage debut with Harvey. Credits: Cinderella (New York Children’s Theatre Festival); The Oldest Profession (Rainbow Theatre Project); The Seven Year Itch, Little Murders, Stage Door (The American Century Theater); The Marriage of Maria Braun, The War of the Worlds (Scena Theatre); But Love Is My Middle Name! (an original one-woman show, Capital Fringe Festival). FILM: Geographically Desirable, The Nextnik, Blonde in Summer (AFI); Three Sessions, A Family Affair (LAFS). TRAINING: Studio Theatre Acting Conservatory; LA: Actors Circle Theatre Conservatory. Emily serves as president of the Actors’ Center Board of Directors.
